Anybody have any experience with both phones??

I think my next phone purchase will be based solely on battery life.

The Pixi could supposedly make it thru a whole day with no problems.

How long will the Pre 2 last, in comparison??

I can make it through a 10-12 hour day with moderate (not heavy) use on the Pre 2. But I am normally a heavy user and I have TouchStones everywhere I go, car/home/work so I stay charged all the time under normal circumstances.

Two of my kids have Pixi's and my daughter needs to charge when she gets home from school (heavy use) but my son can easily make it through an entire day (very limited use).
Clicking the Thanks button is a great way to say... well THANKS

The Pre 2 does present better battery life then my Pre and Pixi using stock kernels. Comparring my Sprint pre at 1ghz to the GSM Pre 2, the battery life gap is MUCH larger in favor for the Pre 2.

Pretty certain this has to do with the OS since webos 2 is just better at handling things.

Why don't you throw in a toy bunny and some duracell batteries. I'd like to see a graph for those three.
Why would I compare a Pre to Pre 2? There should be no contest.

If pastorich gets 10-12 hrs of moderate use with a Pre 2, then one could extrapolate a good ~6 hrs of moderate use with a Pre 1.

Oh well... I bought a clean Pixi outright for like $40, so I'm gonna give that a run until HPalm has proven itself with actual devices in the wild.... on Sprint.
