Yes, but it's too buggy to really work

You enable it, and to get the virtual keyboard to show, you do the slow gesture area-up gesture (the one that shows the icon band).

It may or may not work, it'll surely crash luna and reboot it

No. Unfortunately, the new launcher in webOS 2.0 is no longer easily patchable like it was in webOS 1.x.x Someone on the webOS Internals team tweeted that out not long after the doctor became available. Every patch available is listed above.

Actually this virtual keyboard is different, because it's written for WebOS 2. You don't have to double tap to bring it up, but it replaces the slide-up gesture. It's not buggy as the WebOS 1 version was, it pops up instantly and works really well!

I know sconix was working on it. He had two themes available, which also changed the launcher appearance. I tried them both, and they really look good! Too bad he had some pc-issues, so his preware feed is down now. Hopefully he'll come back to us soon.

I had heard that and on all his Patches screenshot's, you can see his theme. I'd like to get my hands on it. Can you post his feed URL?

Yeah, that's because flash doesn't play in the video player. If somebody knows where the remain active when minimized function resides, it could probably be patched.

I will keep monitoring this thread - It will become very important when webOS 2 comes to all our devices. Thanks Wolfgart & jhoove09 for your insight.

Well, if the OS directory structure/service calls stay the same as it is on the Pre 2 then these will work. These are all designed for the current Pre 2 OS versions.

I am using Mamoutons's patch on my Pre 2 and it seems to work for me. Although I haven't had a dropped call to test yet. Everything else seems to work.

Webos internal won't approve patches that they can't get to cleanly install. I know it works though. Thanks Pastorrich1 for the additional confirmation.

Do you have a link to it somewhere to take a look at? Maybe it can be updated.
