Is the pdf reader finally fixed in pre2 and webos 2.0?
Can anyone who has a pre2 confirm?

The existing pre- and pre+ pdf readers only work 20% of the time for me.

Quickoffice Suite coming to webOS 2.0, no? If so, that should fix it, or @ least be an alternative.

    QuickOffice doesn't open PDFs AFAIKAFAIKAFAIK.

PDF viewer is still a separate app in OS 2.

I would be really dissapointed if the pdf reader is not fixed. Maybe the webos internals experts can port the pdf reader from webos2 doctor and check?

That's simple - use their past performance in this regard as a prediction of their future performance.

I did. Zoomed in, panned, switched pages. I went back in and tried again and it did crash. I opened it a third time though and it worked fine.

why can't hp port an open source pdf reader that works on linux using the pdk. I'm sure it's not as easy as it sounds but it sounds not so hard

I've read a lot of .pdf files on my pre (most of my fantasy and sci-fi books have a pdf version) and I haven't experienced any crashes. Is everyone running Uberkernel with compcache on?
