    yes of course !!

I think the best answer would be: depends on phone performance.

    I don't Overclock my Evo.
Why? Because taking it from 998.4 mhz to 1152 mhz results in NO noticeable increase in speed and just more battery drain.

Why would I push my CPU for less battery and more wear/tear when the gains are worth nothing more than a slight increase in numbers on a benchmark?

Yea that's true... I would have to play with a Pre2 in person first to see how it is.

Maybe this could explain: Overclock - To run a processor (CPU), or any electronic logic device, at a speed higher than is recommended by the manufacturer.

I cannot use my phone unless I overclock.(Palm pre)

    I can't believe verwon doesn't know what overclocking is....sheeeesh!
  17. #17
No. It all looks smooth in the Palm Pre 2 videos, and overclocking would only drain the battery.
  18. #18
Just depends on the performance. I have the Droid Incredible now, it is buttery smooth! So, no reason to overclock it.

I would just because I could.
