I will hold onto my Pre+ until I see what the additional form factors are. I like the Pre2 but who knows what else is coming. I've also invested in 3 TS's so I would love to have a device that is compatible.

CES is 3 months away and they haven't even launched the Pre 2, do you think they'll launch the Pre 2 and announce a next generation device so close together?
I'm not buying into the 3 tier product offering of low mid high end devices. I think only great compelling devices will sell in a crowded market, not slightly cheaper ones. |

I'll hold on to my Pre Minus until the day that I'm eligible for a new phone - which is now (two days) less than a year
![]() At that point I will see what HP has to offer me, regardless of what brand it's offered under. But I've grown very fond of the portrait slider layout, so maybe a Pre 2 Plus or Pre 3 then? |

I'm not eligible for an upgrade until April. With webOS 2.x, I'll be good until then. I'll get whatever webOS device has a portrait keyboard at that time.
BTW, I don't upgrade until I'm eligible for a full discount. Always have. Always will.
