Hi Pixies,
finally i got openSSH/OpenSftp in conjunction with ubuntu and with filezilla or swish on Windows to work over Wifi: OpenSSH on touchpad see also this here: openssh connectivity Now i have the Prob, that after using this for one or two times, i couldnt get connection again. I searched everywhere in this forum and tried things proposed in the wikis, cant find a solution. http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/...ion:OpenSSH-DE and http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/Application:OpenSSH After new installation of openSSH and openSftp, connection is back for some times and disappears again. Is there anybody out there with the same or similar Prob and perhaps a solution or a workaround. I find it very conveiniend, not have to use the usb-Cable, where my Pixi is disconnected from networks an be able to transfer files and data OTA . Maybe it is a prob solely for Pixi, but i cant believe this. Any help is appreciated Cheers Achim |

By any chance you have installed the PDK tools and activated dropbear? If dropbear starts before OpenSSH, it'll bind to the SSH port and prevent OpenSSH from accessing it. Dropbear doesn't support SFTP, and only SCP, so it's not as nice to use.

I read many times about, that this constallation stops working without any reason. The installation with keygeneration is well described, even that there maybe a problem, that ssh stops working and couldnt be restarted. There is also no restart during restart of the device. Should be nobody out there, who is anoyed like me with this problem. Achim |
