Need advice on updating ATT Pixi+

I bought a unlocked ATT pixi+ in ebay, it came with firmware version 1.4.3. I dont live in US btw, and it works well now with local operator. If I upgrade it 1.4.5, will the phone gets locked?. Need advise from the experts on this.

it won't re-lock your phone.
