    Hi everybody!

This forum is really interesting and useful. I hope to post in the right section.

That's the problem: I own a Pixi Plus I bought unlocked in Germany, original provider Vodafone *Germany*. I live in Italy and I my provider is Vodafone *Italy*.

I would like to download the Classic in order to keep alive some stuff I have on a Palm Treo 680.

I found that MotionApps does no longer sell the Classic for webOS 1.4.x.
In the HP site I found the following page:

But it seems that an Italian number isn't allowed :-(
Furthermore I can't see the Classic in the App Catalog on my device :-(

Where to buy and download the Classic?

    Thanks in advance for help.

    No one can help me?

No opinions and no experiences at all?

    Thanks!

MotionApps: MotionApps Hands Classic Over to Palm

It's discontinued and there's no indication that Palm will ever bring it back.

    Thanks ToniCipriani for advise.

What a pity that such application isn't available any longer :-(

I was wondering that HP or someone else would be able to sell it ... but I was wrong :-(

You would think Palm would make it a FREE app for those that can use it since it was given to them.

If I remember correctly, it was quite expensive back in the day. Something like $30.00 whem most apps are less than $5.

I do wish I had purchased it when I had the chance.

Uh, isn't classic included in 1.4.5? I've never messed with Classic, but according to the post on how to get Classic on webOS 2.0 or greater, you pull the Classic .bin file from the 1.4.5 Doctor:

    Touchscreens are a fad.

    It's not the same Classic
    I wish it was thou
I would settle for Palm just releasing a registration code

I agree with this. Why isn't this a free app for 1.4? The fact MotionApps won't make it a free app and yet not give the option of buying it really upsets me...

It is the same Classic. Classic has 2 parts, the Rom part & the app.
I bought Classic on my Pre- on release, but to still use it on my new Pre2 I had to add in the Rom part which Palm/HP left out of webOS 2.x.x, hence the thread about getting it to work.

So is there any way to get Classic to work without a registration code? Like maybe a trial reset or something?
