CMDA is what Sprint and Verizon use for their carrier signals. GSM is what ATT uses for their carrier signals. The only difference is that GSM have a sim card, so the network gets constantly updated, but on CMDA, the network gets updated, but not as fast(or something like that). But I think CMDA phones use more battery...

Ehh, Doctor back to 1.4.5. Wait for Webos Internals to come in and help. They make everything right. And maybe we might do some meta doctoring :P. Meta-doctor has way more success rates than doing a Makefile. But alas, Nuttybunny just wanted to do something quick. Mac OSX is your only option now, it worked for me like a charm. First doctor back to 1.4.5, then try again in Cygwin, if that doesn't work, try Ubuntu, if that doesn't work, doctor back to 1.4.5, then wait a couple of weeks until Webos Internals helps XD. I'm gonna start looking at the Meta-Doctor stuff and then to backup my Pixi and then make a test script. That will begin tomorrow.

1- Put USB cable into computer. 2- Pull out battery. 3- Hold the up volume switch, then plug in the USB thing into the Pixi. 4- You should see a big USB icon on your phone screen. 4- Start up the Sprint Pixi- 1.4.5 doctor. 5- Enjoy 1.4.5 XD 6- You may do 2.1 again, if you want.

It's 1 AM where I'm at. Goodnight Zacky and 74sickness XD. This isn't over Zacky. Doctor back to 1.4.5. Then try again tomorrow when I'm available XD. Or if you like, you may try to put 2.1 on your Pixi and many times as you like. As I said before in my earlier post, I'm gonna try Meta-Doctor tomorrow, maybe even try to get a test script going .

Good Morning to you all (here in Israel)
Palmlover123, you say that it is possible to enjoy 2.1 and that it can handle
    more than 4 cards?

if so, I'll start making the necessary arrangements.

    what Ubunto should i install?
will virtual box would be enough or should i do it on a different pc?
should i uninstall all my 1.4.5 patches so the profile won't save them?

    please advise...

How did you set Compcache at 128MB ? Thanks

Yea 2.1 can handle more than 4 cards if you put the compache high. I would put it at 128 MB. Just install Ubuntu Desktop via Wubi. It really doesnt matter if you uninstall your patches. But patches are unofficial, so your palm profile wouldn't save them. Google Wubi, it's painless and you can uninstall it. It basically just gives you the option to go into Ubuntu. What other computers do you have? If you have a Mac, then use that.
