Win64 users seem to have the most issues. Jason created an app that installs all the different novacom drivers from one place. Did you try that app?

Other than that, make sure you've tried other usb ports and more than one usb cable...

and restarted the phone completely before plugging it in to the usb cable...

No I havent tried the Jasons app Will search for it and try it
I have only one usb cable so i am restricted in this one .
yes i have restated the phone and computer many times and started afresh but didnt help.

    thanks for your reply

Here's what you need, but i think it for 32Bit. Well, wait, i am attaching 2 Zips.
Just try using them, and let me know which one works for you.
On my 32 Bit system PixiDiagDriver.zip worked.
    Enjoy!

CDMA Workshop i used it. To get the carrier setting, here's the way:
You need to write PRL file by CDMA Workshop. WHich carrier you want to use?
Here i am uploading 2 Files for Tata And BSNL.
I am not sure about BSNL.
By writing prl you can shift to different network. But buddy, dont make hurry after writing prl since there are many troubles after that and your phone even might get blocked by the carrier.
Well you can find CDma workshop 2.7 lying around the web.
Start it. Check your port setting, on which your Pixi is setup. If you dont know which port. Goto device manager, and click modem, The Reduced Data Abstract modem is present. right click, properties, modem configuration. Check the port number.
And back to CDMA WS, Click connect on the port selected, and click READ. If you have selected the above mentioned data, you can easily see you phone being read by the CDMA WS in left pane. Now click "Security" in CWS, and in SPC, Put value: 000000 and click SPC--> SEND. Your phone will be unlocked. (I assume your carrier is verizon.) Now Click "Other Tab" PRL section. Write PRL, open the prl file which you want to write on your phone and within 2 seconds it will be written. You are done with writing PRL and your carrier will be changed to respective PRL written Carrier.
After that, there is again a long procedure of playing with MEID's or registering them on the subscriber's network, which is just hard luck.
    Catch me on mail.
    C ya.

Also if you have a RUIM based CDMA phone with your prescribed carrier ruim, you can connect to CDMA WS and get the prl. Its easy. I would have uploaded the BSNL prl but i dont have BSNL ruim.

    Congrats Bro.
You need to write NV file. I have written a guide on other forum.

Well, you did you work great, i think i should opt for bsnl too. My tata is consuming lot of time.
How is the bsnl network? Where are you from?

bsnl network is excellent in CDMA
they dont have many subscribers of WLL/CDMA
    most are evdo datacrd customers
    network is stable and good
