    if you patch you can use sms tone per contact.

    assign tones to those in your contacts and one for the default, which would be unknowns.

    the patch is called 'sms tone per contact'

    however, I just checks and if you patch and use 'advance configuration for system preferences' it will let you set a separate ringtone for unknown contacts.

    if you aren't familiar with patching. I highly recommend it. Do a forum search for preware. I'm mobile right now so I can't get to the links quickly

    Actually there is, I just found it. Homebrew is called TXT Manager.

    One thing I don't like about TXT Manager is small icon that takes screen real estate when app monitoring is ON
