Want to Increase call volume and media on your Pixi? We need help!

JC-TREO has mastered the Pre call volume and media settings along with Mamouton! I asked JC-TREO if we pixi owners can get a boost in volume.

stu5797- Which pixi volume would you like increased? I still have not really found much, but I am thinking this patch might work on the pixi for increasing a2dp volume. (listening to media through a stereo a2dp bluetooth headset). If anyone with a pixi would like to give it a try, please let me know your results and if it does boost the a2dp volume.

Note- I was not able to install it using email methods and had to use webOS Quick Install.

When I am on a phone call on speakerphone I would love that speakerphone to be louder. Also, I would love it to be louder when I am talking with someone on the phone not in speakerphone mode.

Wont install a2dpvolume.patch via wosqi.
An error occured while attempting to run /tmp/scriptfile.sh
1 out of 1 hunks failed- see webos-patches.log for more details.
(wish I knew how to do that!)

my bad... Looks like the pixi files are different. Try this one. This is for a2dp volume ONLY. Will also cause clipping at high output levels.

There is about a 1 in 10 chance that this will work. I really need someone to run "pactl list" on the pixi and send me the output

It installed via wosqi. Restarting now!

I have no way to really test this because I do not use bluetooth or listem thru a stereo. Is there another way to test?

Thanks. If it does what I intended it to do, it should only increase a2dp.

If the pixi setup differs from the pre, it is possible it affected one of the other volume levels. Could be any volume including the volume of the dial pad when dialing a number. I am not sure how to tell without getting the output from "pactl list"

This is what I get when i imput pactl list in wosqi.
When I put in pactl list in terminal on my pixi I get a whole bunch of text. Wish I could get that to you somehow?

Thanks.... yes, it is the 'whole bunch' that I need.

You could also use novaterm from windows which will give you the command line, but off the top of my head I cannot recall if it lets you copy and paste from it.

well...since you're on a roll try

pactl list > /tmp/list.txt

Then, I think in webosQI, you can copy /tmp/list.txt to your computer...post it here or paste it into a pm to me....
