I'm using a pixi plus on verizon and I was just curious to know how big of a chance there is of damaging my phone if I chose to install the kernel? I'm aware of the recovery if things go wrong, but what is something I could do to prevent mishaps?

What's the difference with and w/o the kernel + govnah (other than 600mhz always on with the kernel)?

Does it really matter at this point?
