    I wouldn't call that far-fetched, back in my days on the WinMo circuit with my Treo Pro there were plenty of crashes and horrors involving overclockign and keeping the radio core stable. With any luck, my proposed test should help us find out a little more about all this.

    Notes: I had some severe problems. Within 1 hour of loading Warthog, I had a complete lockup - had to pull the battery to recover. After that initial battery pull, I lost the majority of my preferences (i.e. my named launcher pages no longer had names, lost all my Govnah profiles - it was as if I had doctored my phone and all apps were running for the first time again, was getting all the TOS and Readmes upon app launch). I ended up having to pull the batt another 4 times due to lockups.

    Im guessing your particular pixi is not stable at the 800mhz OC =/

    I was running Uber @ 787 and all was fine and stable. That's what throws me off. I'll admit I'm new to all of this and not quite dug into it as much as you, so I'm happy to do anything you'd like me to try.


    edit: I will say after 2 hours of using your schd parameters, I haven't had a single bit of lag nor unstableness.

    I too am having a lot of success with inputting the stock parameters into the warthog kernel. ALSO I am unable to consistently run @ 800 mhz on a Verizon wireless Pixi Plus. When I set it to 800 it will reboot after about ten minutes even if left out on the table.. Here is the generate email.

    hey guys sorry I haven't been around in a while, but now I'm back to help out with the testing, I'm running the latest warthog kernel, with mixed results, rigjt now it seems this profile is workin stable enough for me with some lag with swtiching between cards at times but for the most part it's stable and I notice a big diff from 787 mhz to 806 mhz

    dktfstr, can you submit your data as per the specifications in my post please? I did say that data submitted in an incorrect format would be ignored, and yours is so vague that very little information can be gleaned from it anyway. And a similar request for you, InSaNe. You didn't even specify whether you were using the sched mod.
    Wbussing- thank you for submitting some meaningful information, but could you also post the data in the format specified?

    DarkCaprice- Great data, this sort of thing is just what we need my O2 Pixi Plus seems fine with stock Warthog at 800mhz, perhaps it's something to do with the CDMA radio not liking OC, as Gen suggested? I also had the preferences wipe on stock, but no lockups. Now I'm running the sched mod everything is superbly duperbly smooth.

    I'm tempted to say that this data proves that VZW (perhaps CDMA in general, but no proof of that yet) Pixis on standard Warthog really don't like OC, but I'd prefer to have a few more reports from other people before drawing definitive conclusions.

    Codecrumb- What Pixi are you running? Sprint? VZ? ATT?

    Fantastic, thank you kindly I see you have a sprint pixi- can you do a day with stock warthog and post up the data for that? I'm intrigued to find out if the lockups and so forth with OC'd standard warthog are due to having a CDMA radio, or just some quirk with the Verizon Pixi.

    I did end up having a couple reboots yesterday. I decided to run the Palm Default @ 600 mhz at the end of the day. Apps seemed to run smoothly with little lag - faster n smoother than stock kernel. So today I'm going to run it @ 787.2 and see how it goes. Before Warthog, I was running Uber @ 787 and didn't experience any lockups and very little lag. Maybe CDMA phones don't like over 800. Hopefully today will shine a little light on the subject.
