I've heard of this problem before. if you just got it, bring it back. They should give you a brand new one. If you want to try an easier fix first, just download webos doctor and try that first. What company do you have service with?

I'm sorry. Open up the launcher (pages) and the last page if you swipe to the right should have an update app. Open it. It should tell you if you have the newest firmware or to download it. Just a hint, connect to wifi.

sounds like the old stuck in headset mode issue, this is not something you run to the doctor for.i found that the only time this happens to me is when I use the earphones that came w the phone. Do a search for stuck in headset mode and you will find somesolutions. Fyi,this never happen to me again once I stopped using earphones the phone came with.

Put the headphones back in and make a call...Then, take the headphones out while the call is still going. This should clear it up. I have had this happen and I doctored the first time it happened. The second time, I looked it up on Google and there was the answer.
