Check this out... How to put phone in developer mode - http://www.precentral.net/how-add-ho...hes-and-themes then how to install preware. Here is three options. - Application:Preware - WebOS Internals. Hope you enjoy the homebrew community, preware, and the entire precentral forum.

Ps. I don't know of anything here at precentral that would mess your phone up. :-)

Nothing can mess up your phone really, since you're a Pixi user. There's always gonna be a way to fix it. Patches won't install over each other that would conflict.

You will find many opinions from others here:

    and here:

I've get more than 70 patches and it's hard for me to narrow it down to just one or two. I'd start with the patch that turns off auto-refresh the browser. Also, be sure to overclock, even though that isn't technically a patch.

Use the phone for a while. See what functions you don't like, then try to find patches that fix them.

The only way you could really destroy your Pixi is by installing a third-party Kernel (and from what I've heard UberKernal doesn't really do much for Pixi's). However, I can se no way that a patch that put the launcher icons in a 4 x 4 grid (for example) could cause a hardware failure.
