Pixi not charging by USB - Page 2

I do not know if I am uderstanding this. You are unable to charge the phone by USB, or just in the car?

Thus far, I have plugged into the wall, my computer, and the converter in my car. All three work fine. I do not have a "car charger" for my phone because I have the converter (and there is a usb hub as well as standard wall plugs). Is it the car charger that is the issue here?

I had to shave down the Sprint car charger for my wife's Pixi. Before the modification the plug dd not fully engage in the port.
