Anyone know what the non-contract price is going to be? The Sprint press release says $99 after $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in. Does that mean off contract will be $249?

dunno the exact pricing, but no, it will be more than $250.

i believe the full price of the Pre is $550.

It seems odd that a device is released on a Sunday. I never really pay attention to release dates of things, because I'm not one to stand in line. However, I will be picking up a Pixi, to use for app testing.
Your Pre wants Word Whirl from the App Catalog.

    It told me.

Wifi could be an issue for me because at times when I travel to the panhandle of Florida, Sprint's coverage is sketches at best.

If we were on VZ it wouldn't be an issue.

Also, wifi is very usefull when traveling overseas at internet cafe to send and recieve emails.

Regardless, I look forwar to comments from those who get it on launch date.

So we have a release date. Does that mean we get WebOS 1.3.x RSN?
