Default Extended Battery

After hearing about the extended battery from Seidio for the Pre, I have liked the phone even more. But now that the Pixi has been released, I was wondering if the same battery would work in the Pixi, and if they would have a back cover to fit over the battery (since it would probably stick out)? Thanks for any help!

The Pixi has only been announced thus far. No definitive release date has been mentioned as of yet. Word on the street is somewhere around Holiday Season 2009.

If it does use the same battery as the Pre, though, does the extended battery require a special back cover because the battery sticks out or is the extended battery the same size as the regular Pre battery?

No one could answer that for sure. That was the point of the other poster.

Anyone can speculate... I could say that since the 13 (whatever size) battery fits in the pre without a back, then that same battery should fit in the pixi without issue. Of course, that would be a guess on my part.

Unless some Sedio guys/gals are around... they might know for sure.
