Hi all, I've just got my treo650

    A few questions,

I've just upgraded from the orange spvc500.
With the c500 it was possible to browse files on the mobile from my desktop PC.

Is it possible to do this with treo650? I'm having loads of hassle using palmone quick install which wont transfer certain files. Are there any other programs that are better?

    2 other questions

    how do you uninstall programs?

Does your treo turn off when you hold the off button? because on mine it goes to the shut down screen and then stays on with the main screen except with gsm disabled? Is this a fault with the phone?

    Cheers

    1. The only thing that comes to mind is PDA Reach

    2. The PDA part never really turns off (just the screen does.) Disabling the radio is all the turning off you're able to do.

I've just given that a pda reach a go, its not really what I was after.

What I'm trying to do is almost use my treo as one of those usb memory sticks you can get, so i can transfer files between work and home with out having to keep burning cds.

The problem is that the treo won't transfer files it doesn't recognise

    Free: Palm File Browser

Not Free (but very popular): Card Export
