I usually keep my MAC with Mail running. If I rush out of the office and leave Mail running, and run SnapperMail, when I get back there is a message in Mail giving me an error message. After that Mail will send but not receive messages on the MAC.

I have to erase the Mail account, then reinstate it and it comes back. Somehow SnapperMail is confusing the POP3 account.

(it is a pain cause I have to move my inbox and sent box to a safe file, otherwise I lose them. Then I move messages back)

Is it because Snapper in using SSL? Is one supposed to turn off Mail (or Entourage) if one is going to use Snapper?

I have the new Premium 2 Snapper.

I have a MAC at home and work that are on all the time and set to check mail every 15 minutes. Never a problem with either machine or with Snapper on my Treo.

Do ou have the preferences set to keep a copy of the email on the server?

Yeah I am keeping stuff on the server intact. Snapper people told me it could confuse the pop3 if requests came from 2 sources at the same time. I wonder if that is it. I don't really think so.
