I was wondering if there is a BT device I can use to talk to a serial device (IE a router's console port) from my Treo650 and some teriminal program???

You need a bluetooth enabled device to use a virtual serial port. However, if your router has a web admin interface, you can connect to that from your Treo using a usb adaptor and reverse dun.

    Motorola HS-850
    Linksys USBBT100
    Mobile Crossing BT GPS

Treo 650 has its own (poor) way to manage the BT services.

When you enables the BT, you get only the OBEX service, if you enable the DUN function, OBEX disappears, and the DUN service become available.

    The BT serial port pop out only when you Hotsninks via BT, AFAIKAFAIKAFAIK $there$ $isn$'$t$ $a$ $way$ $to$ $enable$ $the$ $BT$ $serial$ $port$ $in$ $other$ $way$ ($maybe$ $with$ $third$ $party$ $sw$)
