Is there any way to use the Treo 650 as a bluetooth headset (including 3rd party software)? It would be pretty cool and useful to be able to use my phone as a headset for my computer's (in my case, a Mac) internet telephony software. iChat supports bluetooth headsets internally, so the phone would just need to act like one.

As you can imagine, googling "treo 650 bluetooth headset" gives me something else entirely.

    Thanks.

I haven't actually tried, but I don't think it can be done. BT devices offer specific services, which dictate the protocols to be used. I don't think the Treo offers the headset service, so your computer won't recognize it as a headset, much the same way you can't set up a BT headset as a modem for your Treo.
