My company uses Treo 650s with Goodlink. Recently, my phone started to somehow loose the ability to automatically receive new emails. They will show up on my Outlook, but do not get to the Treo. If I reset the Treo (stylus push button reset), Goodlink will re-initialize and I will get all the emails pending. A manual send/receive on the Treo does not get the messages, re-boot seems to be the only thing. (I have a Verizon Treo)

Are there any known apps that interfere with Good. I do have Butler, Power-up, snappermail (personal emails), and a few others.

Is there a different way to get Goodlink to re-initialize?

    Try reprovisioning the phone.

Will this require a hard-reset and re-install all my apps? Can I do this myself without the IT dept? How?

    Thanks,

Nope, this is something you can do yourself. Here is how:

From the GoodLink home screen, type the word debug
This will bring up a command line.
At the command line, type the word reprov and then hit enter.
It will ask you if you are sure, type Y
This will reprovision GoodLink, but is not a hard reset

OK, I summoned up the courage and tried this, all seems OK now. I suspected for some reason that Butler was the cause, only because that was the last app I installed (and set a bunch of settings).

Don't forget to run the fetch command to repopulate your folders
