I had some probelms with prior versions of 2dial (It significantly slowed down the screen responses in the phone app). I am reluctant to attempt a reinstall of the latest beta because of problems I had deleting the previous versions on a 600. I kept getting a copy protected message despite soft resets and I saw no way to disable the app. My only option was to do a hard reset and reinstall from my last backup. I would like to give the latest beta a try if there is a simple way to remove the app should problems recur.

you could have done a warm reset instead.

I had similar difficulty removing 2Dial. I figured out why it wouldn't delete. Go to preferences, and uncheck the box that says "monitor calls" (I think that's what it says, going from memory).

It should then delete with no problem...

    Hi,

I am real sorry for this.

You are correct - it has to do with the "Monitor calls" option.

The current version should delete without need to uncheck that option, so you should not have any problem deleting it (except insulting me ;-))

Hey Shimon, no offense intended. The app is great, but I know all my VM commands by heart, so it really isn't necessary. The macro is neat, but not essential.

I could not, however, live without Takephone and 2day.

    No offense taken.

Stay tuned - there may be surprises with 2dial to come...
