First of all, it's not about a firmware upgrade, but about an upgrade from a Treo 600 to a Treo 650.

I've discovered that there are more midi tones when I configure an Alarm in PalmaryClock 3.03 than when I access the midi tones through the system prefs. So, there are hidden midis that I cannot delete.

After a lot of thinking, I think that maybe those hidden midis were imported when I transfered the Treo 600 preferences to the Treo 650 preferences.

Has this happened to any of you? How did you solve it?

    1. Hard reset your Treo 650
    2. Rename your desktop Backup folder
    3. Hotsync

This'll load your PIM data, but none of your 3rd party software or incompatible Treo 600 data. Then, just install those apps that are compatible with the Treo 650.
