Never mind... this should fix it.

I did this with her card restored to mine. There wer 0 records to delete with both options. I checked the PalmDesktop and encountered all of the same things in my last post. Here is the HotSync log:

I've heard that polar bear steaks are tough, but maybe if you marinated them in beer they'd turn out all right.

Do you see anything under her name in Outlook? If not Contacts, then does she have a Calendar? Tasks? Cause, you're syncing to Outlook, not the Palm Desktop, right?

Uh, right. I'm trying to see if I can do this now. I have been assuming all this time that we were talking about the PalmDesktop. I'm at my work computer and I didn't realize it might be saving it to somewhere in my Outlook. I'll let you know if I'm successful. Right now I'm trying to figure out where I exported the file to....

Found it. OK, when I chose export to a file and picked the "Contacts" that were under my Handheld Synchronization, and imported it into PalmDesktop it was only the contacts I had set up in MY contacts (my PC, not my Treo). Sorry, dude. I must be testing your patience by now....

No, that's ok. Initially, I was discussing Palm Desktop, but you're set up to sync with Outlook. You've got to pull up *her* Outlook profile and export her contacts and then import those to *your* Outlook profile...cause that's what you sync with, right?

I gotta take off, but you might want to wait to do this until you get home and are using the Palm Desktop.

I know I synch with Outlook, I suppose she would also. However, as this is my work computer and email service I don't see how she would have a presence in any of my folders. I guess I don't know how to change the way I can pull up "her" account (if she even has one.

Is there a way that I can just repeat this process by synching "her" Treo (well, her information on my Treo) with PalmDesktop? Is there a way for me to switch that in the HotSynch Manager?

If you want to switch from syncing with Outlook to syncing with Palm Desktop, browse your Treo's CD and run \English\PostInstall\OutlookSwitcher.exe.

    Bill,

You are undoubtedly, the Man. I'm at home and have been able to retrieve all of her contacts.

I really appreciate your immovable patience with me throughout today. Thanks so much.
