I'm having trouble doing an OTA update of Agendus Pro from 10.01 using the check for update button within the program. The download fails at around 800K when saving to the card and immediately when saving to ram. I think saving to card is the correct way to go, but that isn't working. Anyone succesfully upgrade this way?

STILL can't get the calendar to work with Exchange - making this whole program completely useless if you want to use company email. Call me when they get to version 12.

I did the upgrade from within the program. I said download to main mem. But it downloaded to card anyway. I then did a open fron the card and it moved to main. After clickin it migrated into the 10.1 effectively upgrading to 10.2. Nice piece of work - pro version.

I did an OTA upgrade without saving to the card but simply using the installer and it went fine. Later I went to iambic's site and downloaded the upgrade for storage on my PC.

I upgrade without problems, I like this upgrade is fast to open. It's too early for see the bugs, but seem ok.

Now if only they would update Agendus Mail...the weakest link in the chain.

Agendus Mail is a separate application now, since 10 I think.. I trialed it for a few days and it was a POS so I dumped it and went back to Snapper.

I installed 10.02, thought all was well. Then the next time I tried to use my Treo 650, as soon as my Butler alternative keyguard indicator came on-screen, my Treo locked-up. After resetting I got contstant "complaints" from VolumeCare that my trial period had expired, so it looks like my preferences got trashed.

Luckily I had a good backup on my SD card...

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Agendus uses the default PIM Calendar application and it's database. If you can't get Agendus to sync to the Exchange it's not the fault of the program - it's the fault of the Palm database.

If your trying to sync Wirelessly via Active Sync - can't help. But I'm syncing to an Outlook Exchange file on my 650 via HotSync without any issues.

But the ability to sync wirelessly is not - not an Agendus problem. It's a problem with the Palm setup.

I haven't tried Agendus yet but it looks good. How is the 5 way support? I hate using the stylus.

I'm using Agendus Mail primarily because it is the only Treo 650 email app that allows email hotsync. Over-the-air data prices are much too high here in Canada to justify wireless update unless you have a high priority need or a bunch of cash you don't particularly want.

Agendus causes problem when DBCache is low !

    1. If the OS clears the DBCache while Agendus is running, device crashes on quiting
    Agendus.

    2. Manual clearing of DBCache (via DBCacheDA.prc), device crashes on quiting
    Agendus.

Anybody experience this? Anyfeedback is appreciated.

I haven't used Agendus in years, but...have you tried locking it with Resco Locker?

I've been a Datebk user since datebk3 but I bought Agendus Pro recently on $10 promo. (I'm still running both). I locked it using Resco Locker and I have not had the crashes as described by stevengoh.

I have NOT locked it and I am not seeing the problems.. In fact Agendus 10.0 was pretty crashy, 10.1 did sometimes, 10.2 has yet to crash on me. I also have dbcache.prc running for kicks.

I've seen most of my crashes messing with the "Wallpaper" prefs, or when assigning/viewing contacts with Agendus-assigned pictures. I just don't go into Wallpaper (just makes things hard to read and isn't visible on the split view anyway) and assign contacts pictures from the Palm contacts application (it works better there anyway).

I think there must be some other program clearing out the cache on you.
