How do you guys carry your Treo? I just bought the Treo 650 on Saturday and I dont have anyway of carrying it unless it is in my front pocket alone so nothing scratches the screen. I see on this forum in the shop there is a plastic holster made by Seidio. Anyone have any experience with it. I see Palm makes a leather clip holster, how about that one? I dont want a pouch (too bulky). Or if you can give me other suggestions on carrying the Treo I would appreciate it, I am a newbie.

Seidio holster is a good option. The only complaint I have on the Palm holster (and many others like it) is that it carries the Treo facing outward. The Seidio carries the Treo facing inward, protecting the screen.

There are a lot of pouches that are bulky but the Sydney Harbour isn't that much more bulky that the pouch I had for my Motorola Razr. My only gripe with this case is the clip. Not a big fan of detachable clips.

There are a lot of good comments on the Nutshell but it is pricey.

Sorry, what is the site that I can buy the Sydney Harbour?

It's at the Treo Store here on TreoCentral.....

I vote for the Covertec horizontal case. It is not bulky and provides very good protection. The Treo is very easy to remove and replace. The belt clip does not stick out like on other cases. I have tried other cases, and I always come back to the Covertec.

Where can I take a look and buy the Covertec?

Most of the cases for the Treo will have to be ordered online. The TreoCentral Store probably has the best selection, competitive prices, and you support TreoCentral when you buy here.

I have the Sedio "Clip Holster" and I really like it a lot, but be aware that it WILL chip and scratch the paint. I have a HUGE chip on the top of the treo, close to the stylus holder, where the clip comes in constant scraping contact with the treo body. There are smaller chips along the bottom edges too.

That said, I don't care about these cosmetic blemishes on my treo at all, but you might.

Nutshell -- not bulky, great materials, excellent customer service.

Jaharr, which Nutshell did you buy? Also which one do you guys like better the Covertec Horizontal or the Nutshell if money isn't a question? I just want something that will hold it nicely. Is there a rivet on the inside of the nutshell that can scratch the screen?

I use the P6 Pouch Case made by Smartphone Experts and it R O C K S . . . Very nice quality, extremely easy to get the Treo in and out of and the value ($19.95) is what makes it stand out. I would easily pay twice as much for the case. It protects the Treo really well while still allowing you to listen to music via the headphone jack.

I have the Nutshell and a Vaja. Although the Vaja is very nice, I use the Nutshell as my everyday case. The first Nutshell case I got did have a rivet on the inside that pushed on the keys when it was in the case. I got them to make me one without the rivet and it is just about perfect. The only thing that would make it better, is if the clip swiveled.

I got the black leather pouch with top flap and belt clip.

    http://www.tuff-as-nuts.com/treo-650-belt-case.html

However, I had them install a magnet closure instead of the loud velcro. There is no rivet on the inside -- just a very soft leather on the inside of the screen-side panel (which they say is necessary for durability of the top flap) and microsuede on the other inside panel. (I had them make another one lined entirely with ultrasuede and, they were right, the original was better.) I have not had a single scratching problem. One great thing about the belt clip is how secure it is, and how tight it is against my body. (Okay, that's two things.) Their customer service is exceptional -- they will essentially make the case any way you want it. I got the feeling that it's a family operation.

The only drawback, in my opinion, is that the belt clip does not swivel (which would cause it to stick out more anyway). You could get the belt loop version, but I had no interest in dropping trou every time I needed to remove my case.

Wow, I didnt know Sena had a pouch holster case. There are no pictures of the back of the case or descriptions on Senas site.

Doses the skin fasten with a button snap?

Also, does the pouch case have a belt clip, and if it does is it the nice flat ones like this http://store.treocentral.com/content.../4-25--107.htm or one of thoses big fat lock/release racheting clips like this one

WOW! A magnetic enclosure. I didn't even know they could do that. I was a little put off by the velcro, but now a nutshell looks a lot more appealing...
