Is there anyway to delete previous sent contacts out of the text messaging field? i.e. sent a message to jim. I want to delete that record of the text message to jim out of the drop down arrow field...Meaning when you go to type a new text message to someone and you access the the drop down arrow for a list of people you can see the last 10 people that any message was sent to even after you delete any record of the actual message? Hope this makes sense????

Follow the instructions, one more time:
    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...76&postcount=3

You'll need a program called FileZ. (now would be a good time to look into a site called Google)
    Once you have it installed:

    Look up SMS Quicklist
    Highlight it.
    From the Menu, select Edit
It will bring up a "Record List" starting with 0.This list will correspond with your Quicklist, with 0 being the first entry on your list...
Delete all, or pick the ones to remove (if you highlight the entry and select view, you'll be able to make out the phone no. and name for the entry.)

Do yourself a favor and read the manual, and get familiar with your Treo. The last thing you need to be doing is munkee around with FileZ if you don't know what you're doing.
