Hey folks, please try this for me:

    1. Select an event in the Treo 650's calendar app, choose Record/Send Event from the menu and choose your email app as the vehicle.

    2. Send the email to one of your accounts and download the vcs file to your desktop.

    3. Import that vcs file into either the Palm Desktop or Outlook calendar.

If imported into the Palm Desktop, the event will show as having no description; upon closer examination, you'll find that the description has been turned into a note attached to the event.

Does the same thing happen if the vcs file is imported into Outlook?

Just got some feedback on this from one of my mailing lists: pretty much the same thing happens when importing these events into Outlook.

It's a Treo bug. Importing a Treo-generated vCal file works with fellow palm devices, but not with our desktop PIM solutions.
