    I recently bluescreened, had to reinstall Windows. I expect certain application errors with that, and even reinstalled Palm Desktop. However, I can neither initiate a HotSync from my USB cable, from the HotSync screen, or from my PC's Infrared port. I also get an error message as soon as HotSync Manager launches that says, "Socket error: 8197" Has anyone experienced this and if so, what can I do to repair it?
