    hello,

Anybody try out this program to sync i-tunes songs with the treo? I suppose to work with any Mass Storage Device, which the treo is with CardExportII. I don't have i-tunes so I cannot test.

You can NOT sync directly from iTunes to a Treo without additional 3rd party software. The ones I am aware of are:

    SyncTunes (Mac OS X only):
    http://www.nesfield.co.uk/synctunes/

    Missing Sync (Mac only):

    Shuffler (Windows only):

    BadApple (Windows only):

I played briefly with Shuffler, but wasn't thrilled with it. I know very little about Missing Sync. SyncTunes, BadApple & Shuffler suffer from an inability to work anywhere near as well as iTunes syncing with an iPod. (Apple did it right.)

If you have more music on your computer with iTunes than storage capacity on your Treo then BadApple and Shuffler will sync a random selection of music files to your Treo (which is completely useless for me). SyncTunes seems to have better control over syncing selected music to the Treo, but most of my music is on my work computer (Windows).

I ended punting on the whole sync thing for now and manually copy music files to my SD card using an external USB 2.0 card reader. I copy them over with the same directory structure as on my hard disk (as arranged by iTunes) which makes it a _little_ easier to keep track of what is on the SD and what I want to delete/replace.

I use PocketTunes v3 for listening and pretty much only listen to "dynamically" created playlists based on artist or album (which is a great new feature in pTunes v3 and worth the $10 upgrade fee):

OP has found another such 3rd party software, iWalkman at
    http://www.i-walkman.com/

The question is: How well does it work?

I was just asking for the hell of it. I personally use Windows Media 10 w/ Pocket tunes Deluxe and it works awesome.... I just need more memory.

Tried syncing with the Massstorage product. It keeps saying that it doesn't detect the Treo. The instructions are really bad and it doesn't say what you have to do for it to recognize the treo.

Man, I've spent a lot of money and time on these things!!
