Me too - works very well...

When I set it up to "save new mail on card" it is extremely slow and usually only downloads one message before stopping. Is there something I am doing wrong or could change?

I was going crazy the last couple of weeks since SnapperMail was crashing me Treo650 at least 12 times a day! Today, I installed this latest version and it has been pretty good so far. No crashes for half a day! Also, on the phone screen, I noticed a blue circle logo with a number next to it. I clicked on it and it took me to SnapperMail. Cool - it's an indicator icon like for messaging.

I have been tryng to find that feature but I can't for some reason. I looked in PREFERENCES > STORAGE, but I don't see it there. Where is this? By the way, I did look through the PDF manual also...

Select the second dropdown list on that screen...
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

Strange, I don't see a second dropdown. Perhaps this is a feature on higher level versions since I only have the Standard version?

Yes, card storage is only available for the Premier and Enterprise versions.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

Don't worry, it is too slow to use (at least on an 600)

I definately depends on the SD card you have. If you have a cheaper card it'll be a lot slower. If you have a high performance SD card it will write a lot fast and not nearly as slow.

Same here...this app has always worked great for me once Palm fixed the NVFS (the new file system introduced with the 650) in the firmware updates. People losing email files probably have other problems with their Treo.

I have noticed since the update that Snappermail isn't disconnecting from the internet after checking for emails, even though I have disconnect afterwards checked in preferences. I never had this problem with the previous updated version.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    No such problem here...

I'm not at a machine where I have the file. But, have you tried the forgot password link on their site. I have used it several times. They email the info quickly.

I upgraded a few days ago from Lite to Premier (mainly to get the card storage feature). I forget exactly where the option is, but my suggestion is to save the messages into main memory (when you POP them) and set an archive policy to move messages to card after some time period (like after 1 day). This way, your POPing is not slowed down by the card, but emails are moved out of memory onto the card every day at 3AM (when you are not likely to be using your Treo).

    hope this helps,

Thanks for the update guys...wish snapper would send something to their customers regarding new updates. In any case i've installed it so hopefully the empty inbox has been fixed. I'll find out in a few days.
