    Hi there,

does one of you know an extremely simple clock application that just shows the time in big letters or as an analogue watch - and nothing more? Preferably as freeware? ;-)

I want an app I can assign to one of the buttons, and when I press it, the device just shows what the time is till the keyboard lock timeout is over and automatically switches off again.

    TIA,

    Christian

That's perfectly what I wanted - even more. And damn quick.

    Thanks! :-)

    Zottel,
You can even try watchmaker as well. It doesn't overlay your current screen

My fav is mWatch because I have to have a second hand and it's simple (but comes with lots of extras, if you want them, and it's very configurable).

    ....oh, and it's freeware.

I can't seem to get Watchmaker to show up when the phone is turned on when the keyguard is enabled. KeyguardTime+ works, but it doesn't have the customability I want (which watchmaker has).

Is there some trick to getting it to work?

Try KeyDateTime. It works when the the treo is turned on.

Without the keyguard on, it works great.. When an alarm goes off it briefly shows the time then the alarm shows.

Not really a fault of KGT+ I don't think, as alarms going off with other programs already 'doing something' are a pretty general issue, and usually result in a slow or locked up Treo.

No problem with DB5, keyguard and KGT+ here...what sort of problem do see on your device?

I can't get watch maker to appear on 'startup' either. Just out of habit I start it when I get to work in the morning and leave my treo upright in a business card stand

    Not free.

The same here - watchmaker is nicer and has a better design, but only shows more than a wihte screen at startup if it was not the last app that ran before the Treo was switched off.

KeyGuardTime+ works flawlessly, here - with Datebook5 alarms, too.

All of the clocks I found show the time in numbers only.

If the Treo is set with Keyguard on, and KGT+ set is set to show when Keyguard is on, if an alarm went off in DateBk5 sometimes the Treo would go into super slow motion, just like it does when a lot of other things "double up"..

I disabled keygoard and have it show on power and it works fine now.

    Interesting...I don't see that.
