ok I searched here and palm..with no help..Palm hasnt repsonded to my requets for an answer (as usual)

    Heres my situation..
Friend got new verizon T650. We need to load the palm desktop software to sync etc into his laptop of course.
The problem is his laptop is old and running win98SE which is not supported by the T650 desktop. A new laptop is months away.

So Im wondering if anyone had any luck syncing their T650 with a older version of the palm desktop, say T600?
I know it may not be optimal but will it work?

If it will work, what if any features wont be utilized?

    appreciate the help

Yes, I do that all the time as my wife has a 600 and I have a 650. But it didn't work when I first got my 650 and tried to use the 600 software already installed. Caused the phone to crash.
