Hey! I'm not angry - I just want it to work!! (and perhaps it may be the dreaded: OPERATOR ERROR!)

But everytime I receive or hang up from a call, my Treo defaults to the Palm dial pad, not the TakePhone dialpad as I would like it to. Why is this? The TakePhone GUI is only present when I first launch it from the green phone key but if I get a call or hang up from one, my Treo defaults back to the inherent (re: ugly) Palm dialpad.

Can someone tell me what I'm doin' wrong here?

    Thanks!!

Yup, its operator or ID-10-T error. In TakePhone preferances, under the "PalmOne Treo" settings, make sure the 3rd drop down item in the middle of the screen is set to "return after ALL calls".

Well, I checked the settings and that's the way I have had them set so that's not it. Any other ideas?

    Thanks again!!

Not sure. With those settings my calls always return to TakePhone. Well, Shimon should be up in a few hours. I am sure he will see your original post and respond.

    Good morning.

Are you by chance on the Orange network ?
Orange made a change in the system software that forces returning to it's so-called launcher, and ignores any changes in settings TAKEphONE is trying to make.

I'm sorry - I don't know what the Orange Network is...my guess based on your description is yes. I am in California using the Sprint network.

    Thanks for responding, Shimon!!

Are you using any other telephony related applications, such as Butler, Profile/VolumeCare, etc. ?

Yes, I am using a litany of them:

    Butler
    VolumeCare
    KoolSounds
    Ringo Pro
    Voice Dialer Pro
    BuzzOff

And I am contemplating installing Lightwav Pro to consolidate some of these. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Only thing I can think of is maybe one of those does not play nicely with the "end of call" notification.
Maybe try to disable them one by one, to see if it solves this.

As of Build 94, this earlier bug I reported still exists:

If I select a Speed Dial entry and hit the center button, the Find screen is displayed with an error message
    "=" not found.

Also, is it possible to add an option to choose the "zoom" view to display one column at a time or two? And also for the Speed Dial view? (Space is especially tight on Speed Dial - only 10~ characters before it wraps!

    Hi,

This is caused in most cases by CJKOS.

I have a fix, will be posting shortly.

    Thanks.
