In blazer, when trying to load almost any webpage I get the "this page is too big to be displayed" error. It happens at like 58k when downloading anypage. I have 14 megs free space and have tried doing a soft reset already. any ideas?

clear out your cookies and cache and that should solve your problem

If xatez's suggestion doesn't work, then the problem is your DB cache - perform a soft reset and that should put things right.

You can't "delete" it, but a soft reset should clear it. For more information on the DB Cache, search TC using some of the following terms: db Cache, dbcachetool, resco locker, palminternals.

As far as why it doesn't get fIxed after a soft reset, I think it might be the stuff that gets loaded in dbcache AFTER a reset. If you use dbcache tool, you can easily see the difference in free cache. Set it to clear upon reset, then reset, check dbcache, then set it NOT to clear on reset, then reset, check dbcache. I thInk you'll see a difference in available cache (I do). I think it also depends on how much and what you have in RAM (hede stuff and such) that determines how much cache you'll have after a reset (I set dbcache tool to clear on reset - no questions asked). I eventually lose cache over time (as I think Bill G. also sees) and have to reset. But I never see those memory errors in Blazer anymore.

I have the same problem. I have blazer set to clear cache on exit. Try 3-4 times to reload the page; it seems to work for me then. Frequently, I get the same error when downloading software. After trying several times, it works--eventually. I will search for the cache tool.

The only suggestions I have is use http://www.skweezer.net/ and also download and install Xiino web browser to use with large web pages.

If I hard reset, the problem goes away, but once I restore a backup the problem persists

Then, unless you have any suspects, you'll have to use the process of elimination (by installing one or two apps at a time) to discover the culprit.
