I'm writing to suggest that TAKEpHONE will prompt me to contact notes after or during a call.

I think users' businesses would benefit from being able to easily record notes for future conversation.

I would definitely like to add my voice to the chorus on this one. Having some form of "call notes" that either is part of or works with takephone, would be great.

    I use Call Notes.
Last time I checked it out it didn't automatically prompt for notes after a call. Is this still true?

Call Notes seems to require you to launch the program first. Then, it'll give you a list of recent phone calls and allow you to add notes to them.

    It costs $25.

Lightwav Pro apparently does this but folks either have no issues with Lightwav or lots of them:

    Palm III > HS Visor > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 750 > Treo Pro > PrePlus GSM

"95% of all software issues are due to USER ERROR."

Thanks. I just downloaded and installed Lightwav. Here's what I found about notes:

    - It stores them in its own database. You can export that database to an SD card or to Memo Pad, but not to the contact's address book record.
    - During a call, you can bring up past notes, but unless you click around, all you see is the date and time of your last call.

So we're back where we started.

    Shimon, help!

Isn't there a program that will launch an app after one closes?

I'd like to add my voice to the din calling for a "call notes/log" feature. I used to use CallFilter for this, but that isn't possible on my T650.

What I'm looking for is something that will throw a 1 line entry into the contact notes with the call details, and the option for additional notes:

    < 02/23/05 | 16:52 | 002m 09s
    < 02/23/05 | 10:31 | 001m 10s
    Notes: Additional notes go here

    < 02/21/05 | 10:01 | 004m 48s
    > 02/12/05 | 13:37 | 006m 11s
