I can't believe there isn't a thread dedicated to this (so far apparently) great app!!! Sure, it's discussed in some threads in a post or two, but this app could be very useful if fully customized.

What customized sites have you set up? I just downloaded so I'm still looking. Let's make a list in this thread.

For 8 bucks I think I might buy this even though I had vowed to stop buying Palm apps. Incredibly efficient app IMO.

A link to the app might be a good start. Maybe a desription of what it does?

    Good idea.

This app gives you a list of search engines. You pick an engine, enter the search text, and it opens that page in the browser of your choice.

Let's say you wanted to search Palmgear for Wassdat. You enter Wassdat in the search field, select palmgear from the search list, and hit ok. It opens the result page in your browser.

So you bypass the main palmgear page and go straight to the results. And it can be activated from the find command, so it's not like you have to leave your app to get to it.

Some engines that come standard include:

    Google
    eBay
    Palmgear
    encyclopedia.com
    thesaurus
    island stocks
    dictionary.com

and you can add custom urls for any search where the search string is in the URL. My goal in this thread was to have a list of custom URLs form Wassdat users.

I have been using Wassdat for a long time and it rocks. A big help for shortcuts to search results. Here are a few I use all the time: :-)
