I have a new Treo 650 that I use as a phone and organizer. I don't use the data functions (email and internet) other than to send photos and text messages. I used the internet briefly to update a program recently and have sent a couple of photos. I haven't set up wireless sync and I have no intention to do so. After all of this I have used about 3MB of data. I proactively signed up for the $25, 10 MB data plan from Verizon. But according to verizon, I shouldn't be charged data time for sending a photo. But every time I receive a photo, my browser on the phone starts searching and keeps running on the data network. I can only assume that this is running up the charges. Can I delete the browser or somehow disable the data services on the phone? If I do this, will I still be able to send and receive photos? Thanks for your help.
