    all of a sudden it say's 'authentication failed' when i try to get new mail in a very often used account. i tried setting up the account again fresh and it didn't work. any ideas?

    Sometimes settings get corrupted in the background, even though they still look right.

    Try deleting the account from within VersaMail and resetting it up fresh.

    Thanks for the idea. I had a slightly different problem with VersaMail, and your suggestion solved it.
