    Hmmgff...

I cannot get my treo (GSM unlock and on cingular network) to update to the local time for the aera I am.

I use to have a kyocera and this old generation PDA on sprint was doing it! As I travel a lot this was a very handfull feature. I could rely on my phone as a watch.

So what do I need to do, so the clock of my treo, reflect the local time for the zone or serive area I am without me having to select a specific city?

    Thanks for any info

Launch Preferences, tap on Date & Time and check "Enable Local Network Time if available". Pay attention to your Treo if you check this - sometimes it can cause trouble.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

I wish it was that easy...
When I go to preference and select Date and time, I am not offered that option.
The screen Date&time in the preferences gives me only the following:
    Set date ...
    Set time ...
    Set time zone ...
    Day light saving ...

So what shoud I do. This none existing feature is running me crazy. Every phone now do that. And obviously it can be done on the Treo. So Why is my phone not letting me select that option. Should I download some extra software for it?
Please help.... I travel a lot and I really need that feature...

Again my cell in an unlock TREO 600 with cingular oin GSM network. But since I do not get the option of selecting "enable network time" I should add some software...
    Any clues

    Thanks

I'm sorry, my mistake. I didn't notice that you were posting in the Treo 600 forum - the option to which I refer is found on the T650.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

    So what should I do?

His it only a software issue? If I download the 650 software for the treo and apply it to my 600 will it work?
I know it can be done. Anybody with ideas. THANKS
