OK, I'll give it a try. Finally. (and mostly because last night I tried to send a Word .doc file attachment with Versamail and everything got gummed up.)

How well does Chatter handle .doc file attachments? (that's pretty much all I'm interested in - sending script revisions to directors, producers, etc.)

And at the risk of getting flamed again: what's the most painless way to give Chatter a trial, considering I have Versamail installed and have been using it with no problems until yesterday? What are all the things I have to UN-install before trying Chatter? (I'm not very computer literate)

    TIA

It works fine, provided you have DTG or OfficeSuite to view the file. And you can always save it to your Card.

Just download Chatter and install. I'm not sure your carrier, so Versa may be part of the ROM, and unable to be deleted. If you have VZW, it's an add-on, so deleting shouldn't be a problem. Although I don't really know that you need to delete it at this point.

Luckily he only has eight posts, but I couldn't find any with donric's quote.

What program is VZW if you don't mind? Sounds like a very nice program to have.

I believe that's short for Verizon Wireless.
