    Without changing any settings, one of my two .mac e-mail accounts in VersaMail has busted (it had been working fine since Day 1). When it is "connecting to IMAP server," I get an Authentication Failed dialog.

    I have checked all passwords, tried turning off authentication, deleted the account and set it up again... nothing has worked. My desktop e-mail client is connecting to the IMAP server fine. It seems to be a problem with VersaMail.

    Any ideas?

    .Mac was out last night in maintenace... same error on mine as well... but all resolved now - also notice that you are allotted a full 1 GB of storage now on .Mac
