    Hello,

Is there any way to merge old versions of the Palm Desktop contacts and calendaqr into Outlook? Is there a 3rd party app that will do this sort of thing?

Isn't there an export option on Palm Desktop? Export a cvs file and import it into Outlook.

That'll work for the address book or Contacts, but not for the datebook or Calendar. You'll need DIMEX to export your Palm datebook info into CVS format.

Thanks for the program recommendation I'll look at it tonight when I get home.

OK...but let's assume I never exported anything. I just have copies of the old .BAK and .DBD. files from my old palm and my old work palm. How do I get those into outlook.

I didn't think to export them before I left my old job.

I copied the program files\palm directory and that's what I have.

I don't care so much for my calendar I can put that stuff back in. But the contacts I need.

    Thanks,

    C

Outlook can't read the Palm's .dat or .bak files. Use DIMEX on the old datebook .dat file to produce a CSV that Outlook can read...as for the old addressbook .dat file...hmm. I think you'll need to install the Palm Desktop so that you can produce a Contacts CSV file for Outlook.
