I want to clear my calendar completely and start from scractch. Is this possible without physically going through every event and deleting individually?

    Thanks in advance

Using a file manager, like FileZ, delete these files:
    CalendarDB-PDat
    CalendarLocationsDB-PDat
    DatebookDB

Then, launch the Calendar app so that it can create the new, empty dbs.

You could also use Calendar app's "Purge" menu item. It lets you purge items older than one week. Just set your date to some future date. Then purge. Then set the date of your device back.

True. But make sure that the date you set is at least a week ahead of your most future appointment.
