I've come to the conclusion Ringo(V.4.4) is the cause of my restarts, (using ##377). So i'm wondering:

How many of you actually use Ringo Pro with your Treo 650.

Depending on the result of this poll, i'm either going to toss out Ringo or just accept the resets.

I used to use it. I've copied my WAV file to RAM and I dumped it.
    I'm back!

Doesn't using WAV take up alot of space? I have about 4 custom ringers I made in the mp3 format.

I used it for a while then realized it was causing stability issues, dumped it and much more stable now

I use it. Have you got the updated version yet?

Had to dump it. Constant re-sets.

I used it and then just deleted it after several weeks of giving it a try. I think it was causing lots of soft resets.

I also have the newest version, no problems or reset's.

I have eliminated my troublesome apps by adding one at a time for a few days to see if stability has changed. Also some apps just don't work well with other apps...

Had several resets in the past then updated to the newest version and it has been working pretty stable.

When you check the Version is it 4.4?

I purchased it and used it for a few weeks, but then got rid of it. At the time, it would cause a reset if a caller completed leaving me a voicemail (turning on the vm indicator) while the missed call screen was still active.

I also very frequently mute the ringer for an incoming call using the side volume buttons (given the design of my case) and Ringo wouldn't let me use that functionality with MP3's.

I have upgraded to version 4.4 and have not had one reset. It works great for me.

never used it - doesn't seem like something we would need

Please note: My spelling sucks and I'm to lazy to check it.

I use it and love it!! No noted problems with resets. I typically have 4 to 5 resets a week and none are caused by Ringo.

I tried it. I switched to mRing instead. I use pTunes for podcasts and it would always loose my place when a call came in. mRing has its own music player.

    Unfortunately I bought it!!!

In my opinion it is the best sw to manage mp3 ringer as far as FEATURES is concerned. The other side of the coin is that is BUGGY and UNSTABLE.

BTW the thech. team is releasing quite a lot of version try to sort bugs out. I'll test it again in a month.

The WAV ringer I'm using takes up 45K. I don't see that as a lot to avoid using Ringo.

I guess not, but I'm assuming your ringer is pretty short. If mine were I would go that route also.

mRing has worked well for me. I thought Ringo was overpriced for the features it provided. Try mRing.
