Might be a dum question. Recently I got my Treo 650 from cingular. How did you get radio on this?
Could you please let me know?

    Thanks for your help.,

    kirnali,

I believe grundler is talking about his DATA CONNECTION and not Radio like you are thinking. Radio is just another one of those terms. Data=Radio....
    Thank You,

Almost. Actually, the term "radio" is used to refer to the "phone" half of the Treo, with the other half being the pda. You turn off/on the Treo's "radio" by holding the red phone button.

This sounds like a loose SIM. Shim it with a piece of paper - that should take care of it. Then, call Palm and ask to replace your current SIM tray with one of the newer 'ridged' ones.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. I knew what it was but do not know why it came out that way... Anyway, thanks for the correction!

Thanks. I'll try calling palm about the tray. i have never had much luck when i call companies and tell them "someone said i could get a replacement________" but i'll see how it goes. I did try to hard reset and see if it still occurred before hotsyncing and it did occur. I do get a myriad of sim errors all the time. I just ignore them since it rarely does anything. I guess perhaps this one is causing some problems.

...but in the mean time, slip a piece of paper between the SIM and the tray.

I had a similar issue with my Treo, and yes, the fix was a small piece of post-it on the back of the SIM card.

Called Palm and they are sending me the new SIM holder. Also, the piece of post-it on the back is working great for now. thanks a heap!
