I was looking at the "Conduit Settings" on the desktop Palm application. It lists both contacts and address book...what is the difference between those two? What do they refer to?

Your Treo 650 uses the Contacts conduit; the other should be set to "do nothing". Address, Datebook, ToDo and Memopad(?) were the old PIM databases (Palmsource); Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Memos are the new databases (Palmone). If you synced another user with an older Palm device to your desktop, it would use the old conduits.
